Ingrid, my wife, and I have visited Bistrodo three times in the last two weeks. Welcoming all the time, say warmly. The coffee is excellent and the service is the same. A little spot home in Sauerland. I live as a Dutchman for a long time in the Sauerland. Whenever I get homesick, I go to Sundern-Hellefeld and visit Mark and his daughter Maaike in Bistrodo. An old inn with guest rooms, completely redesigned with great taste. The sweet smile of landlady Maaike makes me immediately forget my homesickness. A fresh Veltins at the bar, to eat a few Dutch snacks. It can not be better. Dutch hospitality in the deep Sauerland. Worth a trip.
